Publication design helps make £50,000 for organiser and fuels growth of show
Since 2007, Klarents Media has produced the exhibition guide for a niche business services exhibition in a sector worth £7bn to the UK economy alone.
The event director commissioned Klarents Media because he wanted a publication that was well designed and reflected the values of his exhibitors who are typically very fussy about editorial detail, quality of English, and factual accuracy.
He also wanted a publication that would generate an extra stream of income for him.
Working closely with the event director, Klarents Media developed a unique format for the design of the editorial pages particularly appropriate for the industry sector.
Exhibitors have steadily increased from 102 in 2007, to 177 in 2014, while the total net financial return to the organiser from the show guide has totalled £50,290 over eight years. The organiser has also launched four other editions of the show around the world.
Commenting on the show guides, the event director said: “We have been delighted with the quality of the show guide, you clearly have a real knack of finding excellent staff.
